Erpe, Belgium, 10 May 2015 – CHILI Publish (www.chili-publish.com) announces a new technology partnership with IQ Australia, a privately owned company providing IT, custom software development and business solutions to the print, travel & tourism and finance sectors. IQ has selected CHILI Publish’s well-known online editing solution to integrate with its flag-ship product printIQ. The integration will enable printIQ to offer a SaaS (Software as a Service) option to complete customers’ web2print offering. The IQconnect – CHILI Publish module delivers this functionality directly from within the printIQ MIS to provide an integrated and seamless workflow. Combining the unique strengths of both products, customers will be able to benefit from the most comprehensive print management system on the market today.
“We are delighted that such an innovative MIS developer has seen the potential CHILI Publish can bring to its offering,” says Kevin Goeminne CEO of CHILI Publish. “Print production processes are developing quickly, particularly with regard to rapid adoption of online ordering and the resulting need to streamline order-to-production processes, minimizing errors and touch points. This only serves to add to the bottom-line.”
IQ has been delivering IT-based solutions since it was established 15 years ago. The strategic partnership combines the intelligence of the printIQ pricing engine, a web ordering workflow solution with the capabilities of CHILI Publish online editing technology. The result is the IQconnect – CHILI Publish module, an integrated and comprehensive online ordering process that can easily keep pace with the requirements of today’s printing operations. CHILI Publish APIs have been finessed to deliver template information, metadata, annotations and artwork files to printIQ for complete job tracking and reporting that is unique in the world of print MIS.
Mick Rowan, IQ Director and Product Development Manager, says, “We’ve designed and built an MIS with the future of print in mind. It is a new breed of print management system with web2print functionality incorporated directly into the product with the MIS. With no software to install, no separate web portal or online ordering system to add on, printIQ represents a quantum shift from the print software approach most printers are taking today.”
Rowan continues, “We continuously expand and develop our MIS solution to ensure that printIQ is far more than just an exceptional production tool. IQconnect – CHILI Publish, created through our partnership with CHILI Publish, offers advanced template functionality in addition to printIQ’s standard web2print functionality. The module also offers a unique seamlessly integrated, automated approval process that takes care of both financial and content approvals. Best of all, the module is offered in a SaaS model, removing the key financial barrier to utilizing this type of solution. With printIQ, the job hits production as soon as the customer confirms the online order. Production staff manage the factory, while customers quote, order and track – all from anywhere in the same application, on a desktop, tablet, or even a smartphone.”
Since developing IQconnect – CHILI Publish, IQ has already signed deals with Cassette, a creative communications agency based in Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong; and Digitalpress, an innovative print operation in New South Wales.
“It’s proven once again the MIS sector is highly relevant to the adoption of online solutions. The integration of CHILI Publisher enhances IQ’s business solution and fits nicely into their model in a simple and cohesive way,” comments Alan Dixon, CEO of Workflowz Ltd. CHILI Publish’s channel partner for UK & Australia “With the inclusion of web2print capabilities, MIS can be a revenue generator and a gateway to drive more profitable and automated work through the business. It’s great to see IQ already having traction with users reaping the benefits of this partnership.”
The new partnership will be one of the highlights of the CHILI Publish presence at PrintEx 15, Sydney’s biggest Print and Design show taking place at the Sydney Olympic Park, May 13 till 15. CHILI Publish will be on stand 1501 with its UK & Australia channel partner Workflowz Ltd. IQ will be presenting printIQ and launching a number of new modules at the show and can be found in stand 1611.
By partnering with CHILI Publish, IQ joins the growing list of technology partners whose products and services CHILI Publisher easily integrates with. Several of these partners, including Esko and XMPie amongst others, will also present their solutions, as well as their integrated offerings with CHILI Publish at PrintEx 15.
